ROLE: Content Marketing Manager, Trovata.io

CONTEXT: Trovata is an enterprise SaaS platform for corporate finance teams that enables them to manage their multi-bank cash automatically from one single sign-on. Finance teams can analyze cash flow, send payments, and forecast cash with AI. Wells Fargo is one of Trovata’s investors and also a channel partner. Trovata is an attractive solution for large global enterprises like Krispy Kreme, which have multiple business units and banking partners.
OBJECTIVE: To create a case study for the sales team and the Trovata website that highlights why the VP of Treasury at Krispy Kreme chose to implement Trovata over its competitors and the benefits the organization has realized.
RESPONSIBILITIES: I worked with Trovata’s Account Manager assigned to Krispy Kreme to reach out to the client and set up an interview in which I could ask a multitude of qualitative and quantitative questions about their experience with Trovata to write a captivating story.
I then wrote up the case study and sent it to the client for their approval, then worked with Trovata’s graphic designer and website developer to publish it as a PDF and a web page.
I then worked with the Email Marketing Manager and Social Media Manager to create compelling copy to promote the case study across different channels. We also took portions of it and turned it into testimonial graphics and a LinkedIn carousel.

RESULTS:
- 1,000s of page visits in the first 3 months and a 15% email click-through rate (up from our average of 7%)
- Significantly lower bounce rate on this page than our average, so most visitors who went to this page clicked through to more pages on the site
- Positive feedback from the sales team that the case study helped them to move deals forward in the pipeline
- We used quotes content from the case study to fortify our G2 and Capterra profiles
